RockTape - Kinesiology Tape Instruction - Mid Back
This video details the steps for applying RockTape Kinesiology Tape to the mid-back.
Start with our standard 2 inch tape and measure from upper-back down to lower-back. Cut two strips of this length. Measure a third strip from one shoulder to the other across mid-back. Round the tape’s corners to avoid catching on gear or clothing.
Stretch the skin with a hug, focusing on rounding the mid-back. With the first strip, tear an end then anchor to the upper-back on either side of the spine. The strip should point down. Repeat previous step for the second strip, applying on the opposite side of the spine and parallel to the first strip. Pull away the release paper, applying straight down.
Tear the center of the third strip to expose the adhesive. Then, with some stretch, apply to the painful area perpendicular to the previous strips. Lay down the ends with no stretch, then rub to activate the adhesive. Using 4 inch wide tape as the second strip is optional. Thanks for watching!
